london, touristic city of dreams

London is one of the most visited in the world, and cities in 2007, she was the first, with 15 million tourists. The largest city in the UK and its capital, with 7.5 million people, London is still in the ranking of the most visited cities. The leading financial center in the world, with all the attractions it offers, London is one of the cities that you must visit.

Big Ben

To begin, what better than to start with Big Ben? This monument is THE most represented and most representative of London, no doubt. Located in the heart of Westmintser on the edge of the Thames, Clock Tower whose real name is an icon of the French capital. I have already spoken on the blog so I'm not going to tell the same story.

London Eye

The most recent but is already recognized worldwide for the following reason London landmark: from the moment Hollywood fart something in a movie is that it's necessarily an icon. The London Eye is mistreated in the Fantastic 4 Silver Surfer and that's it. Ok this is a little light I admit, but with 3.5 million visitors a year, the 32 capsules EDF wheel (representing 32 London borough) allow you to enjoy views around up to 40 km to the round fine weather. And to be honest with you I've never not mounted, it might be time, right?

St Paul's

Located in the heart of the City, the financial heart of London's St Paul's Cathedral was built there several times over two centuries. The cathedral has hosted ceremonies such as the wedding of Princess Diana and Prince Charles (the royal wedding of 2011 took place in Westminster Abbey) and more recently the funeral of former Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher.

Buckingham Palace

At the end of the Mall is the palace of the famous Queen aka Queen Elizabeth II. More than 60 years on the throne but the palace still remains older than the Queen Mother, be reassured. Opened in the 18th century Buckingham Palace is the core property of the English monarchy. They say time than anything, a brothel was in place prior to construction of the palace ... Despite the passage of time and sometimes even damage (9 times hit by bombings during the 2nd World War), the palace Buckingham is still there and the flow of tourists outside the gates to watch the royal guard or try to spot the Queen is still substantial.

Tower Bridge

As one of the oldest monuments of London so it is also the most recognized and most famous. Still in working order, it sometimes opens 2 to let the big boats on the Thames.
