Seville, capital of Andalusia, is located on both banks of the Guadalquivir river, it's mostly on the east side that are the most interesting monuments.

Some tapas bars near the river, as Pedalquivir and El Faro de Triana, offer a nice view but are not as good in terms of quality. For something more typical and better, simply avoid bars and restaurants that have menus in English, the prices will also be lower. Head for example to La Manzanilla (Calle de Alfonso) or to the Taberna Colonial located in Plaza Cristo de Burgos.

Where to stay in Seville? 

Seville remains one of the most attractive destinations in Spain: climate, culture, entertainment, heritage ... but the Andalusian capital hosts thus many visitors, which affects the price of accommodation, some higher than in the rest of the country. Prices rise during the peak tourist season, roughly from June to September, with other peaks on the occasion of Holy Week and Feria de Abril. For these periods, mandatory reservation in advance!

The ideal of course remains to stay in the historic center of Seville near the historical monuments, museums, restaurants, places to go ... well, in the heart of the atmosphere! Addresses charm abound between superb guest houses institutions within a historical setting, comfortable hotels and upscale way, but also some thought to the pleasant atmosphere.
